I realize a lot of the games today are cross genre, but IF you had to chose a "pure" one of the above which one would it be?

Strategy or Rpg.The best is Strategy with RPG elements or RPG with strategy elements.
I choosed strategy but it was so so....

I chose adventure. The best in my opinion is adventure rpg like Fallout. But I guess that if Fallout had to be put in one genre it would be rpg. But what drew me into gaming was playing adventure game...

I'd probably choose adventure for me, one of my favourite genres I like playing, especially some of the oldies, although I'm a big action fan as well.

It just had to be "other".

I'm obviously not the only one, but I love to be surprised, to see genres mixed, to see something new, so... I like the stuff that doesn't fit in.

I went for adventures... much other stuff I love, too... but adventures were my "first love" (playing Maniac Mansion on a C64 :wub: )...

Yeah.
Games that are other are mostly just genial or crap. Unfortunetly there is only few genial ones there.... :whistle:

I saw you mentioned The Settlers of Katan. I got this game, but haven't played it yet (got it a while back, but hadn't the time for it). Is it any good? I'm considering an uploda, but I'd really like somebody else to review it...

Adventure all the way. Sure I do adore plenty of FPSes and platformer titles of the old school but my heart will always belong to the point and click genre. <3
