If you do delete members who haven't been active for a couple of months, and then they decide to come back just to see how it is and then they find they have been deleted. They would probably get pretty pissed off. I know I would. :not_ok: Actually I can't believe this idea was even suggested. |

LOL LOL LOL
But other option: Why should people still come here and only read when they have made ZERO post in all that time... Maybe just delete then all user with 0 posts who has been here longer then 1 month.....

I still don't think it should be done. No one really cares how many members there are. Plus just by reading most of the topics you can see that all the members aren't active. I'm sure this happens in all forums around the world, and I'm sure they are all sane enough not to delete inactive members.

well I sugest a new criteria...
we delete all members that have accounts at least one year old, havent posted for 6 months, and have less than 5 posts... surely, a person that fits in this criteria, due to the long period of not posting, has already forgoten his password and probably user name too, so he probably wont be able to retrive the password and etc. etc... |

posting isn't the only useful feature of registring.
as pointed out allready: 1. new post highlighting. 2.email notifications on replies 3. pm

Well, you're all right here, actually. Why delete them if this doesn't bring some advantage at all, not more bandwidth or saved space. In that case, it's better to leave them all, to make out forum look bigger, too.
But heck, as it seems Kosta met his own decision already, why discuss this all here further? No point anymore... |

Would it be too much to ask what's Kosta's decision, since I'm not familiar.....
