since kings quest 9 will be available in 7 days i want to replay all of the kings quest games but my copy of kings quest 7 freezes every time i try to start it can anyone tell me where i can download it i know it's not abandonware yet but i dont have the time it will take to buy the game on ebay or amizon.com :help:

Erm, sorry if this is a bit of a stupid question, but wouldn't the most reasonable thing be to try running the copy which you legally own? :blink:
Better try posting details of your problem in the troubleshooting section instead of asking people for links to warez-sites.

dont you think i've tried to get it to run (it's my favorite kq game) i just can't so i'd like someone to tell me where to download it

no i don't, i think it's just something wrong with the cd because it used to work. its always had problems but after the last time i reformatted the hard drive it stopped working period i guess i'll just have to play 1-6 though i don't know why it's not abandonwhare yet it's not sold anywhere anymore

I know I'm a bit stupid when it comes to computers, but how can formatting your hard drive possibly affect a CD?

it didn't affect the cd it affected the computer i think i had some type of application (i have no idea what ) that helped it work but it got erased when i reformatted

yes kq7 will usually work once every 50 times all 49 others freezes the computer and i have to restart until it works and then it works pefectly it used to work every 1 in 5 tries

formatting your hard drive erases all your drivers.This can influence the overall performance of your cdrom, but it cannot render a certain cd unreadable.That is the only way formatting your HDD can affect your cdrom performance
