I really enjoy the Boxshots and I am really happy when I see in an update that new boxshots have been added to the site.

You say that now, but the last time I submitted a review it took a full week (if not more, I don't remember) of useless updates before it got up.
That's not an excuse. It is not even a valid point... |

It had to pass through the Grammar Squad's tender mercies, you know.

Very, very tender *fanged smile* And as I recall it was an incredibly long review, too. Grr.

I don't think it is an option to not mention the extras in newsposts. You can summarise several in a weekly newspost and clearly state in the title that it is about extras. I really don't know where the expectations come from that there has to be a daily game update and nothing else. I prefer to have one game update and three extras updates a week than one game update and period. Then you see that there is work done, and the contributors get recognised.

Archives, boxshots, manuals, maps, ads. They all combine to create the complete package. A package that is designed to help create a game experience that is as close to the actual original experience as possible.
I you feel the need to bitch about the fact that news is posted about such things then do yourself (and us) a favor and don't read them. Certainly you don't expect a new game update every day? If you do then you have no idea the amount of work that goes into it.

You're the last guy who should complain. It took you 3 years to write that review
