You always could try to put the vacuum cleaner on the air holes without opening the laptop. Can't hurt to try, if it's only dust you have a chance.
But if you're a smoker the chances are slim, dust and smoke tear are a bad combination.
BTW, in case you don't know: do not blow in the holes with compressed air, great chances you will harm your laptop by blowing dust inside.

You may also want to take a look in the BIOS and see if there's any fan settings.

Thumbs up DosBox and Vista

Dosbox works on Vista. At least I got no problems with it.
I got Dosbox 0.72.
And everything works, even fullscreen.:thumbs:

This belongs with another Subject, oops. This belongs at if Dosbox is compatible on Vista.

Default help

the only game that will work on my dosbox is freakin the oregon trail..every other one keeps saying illegal command.. i dont think is a vista problem.. any ideas

When we refer to DOSBox, we are referring to this DOS emulator. It's great and will let you play a lot of old games with a minimum of hassle.
