Default Discworld Noir

Discworld Noir rocks -its so much darker than the other games, & features non-book characters. Plus the inerface is rather original when it comes to Lewton's notebook.

Yeah, I've read the books 2. They are also fantastic(al), & under-appreciated.

Disc world Noir is not abandon ware, I found it on sale here in England for ?5 last week. It's a brilliant game and I have completed it 6 times :
I think the first two discworlds are abandonware as I have never seen them on sale and would very much like to play them. Could anyone upload it?

I love Outcast! It's one of my favourite computer games. Beautiful graphics, great story, probably one of the best game soundtracks ever and an unbeatable atmosphere. Sad that only, like, 3 out of 10 people remember it today...

I have both of them. Bought them just after their releases and I really don't regret it.
Neither of those games are abandonware (or IMHO even old) though.

I've always been a BIG fan of Discworld books and Terry Pratchett. Didn't even have to think about it after I heard that they were doing another Discworld game back then. I think I bought Discworld the same day it was released here in Finland.

Almost the same goes with Outcast. It had been hyped so much on TV and everywhere that I saw it as a must-have before even trying a demo (if one was even made) or anything.

Neither of these games did disappoint me. I played Outcast the last time a couple of weeks ago and noticed that I still love the game. And I don't think I'll have to say anything about Discworld Noir. Guaranteed Terry Pratchett. A good plot, great humor and some very clever things in gameplay (the werewolf thing for example, if anyone has played the game).

Good to see there are other people too who like these two gems.

The Diskworld books are wonderful. Definatly my favorite series. As for the games, I've played the first Diskworld one, another one that has the same feel to it (probably 2), one where you're a detective/werewolf, and uh...some other things.

That is Discworld Noir. In it you play a Film Noir style Private Investigator who gets turned into a werewolf somewhere along the game's plot.

In England the currency is not in $ (Dollars), but in ? (Pounds) or € (Euro), not sure if they already accepted € as their currency.

The curreny is ? and I found Discworld Noir for ?5 at my local GAME (which is a big chain of computer shops here in England) released by one of those budget publishers, there should be a GAME in one of the places where Pirate is going if you go to one of the shopping arcades or high streets.
