Thumbs up So I made some screenshots---

Where do I go afterwards to retrieve them? Where are they stored or how do you open them?
Anything is appreciated :amused:

If you're using DOSBox, they're in a folder called "capture" within the DOSBox installation folder (check in your C: drive at C:\Program Files\DOSBox). Any imaging program like Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, Fireworks, MSPaint, and even the Windows preview dealy should open the png files without a problem.

If you're hitting the "Prt Scrn" button to get your screen grabs, you need to go into an imaging program like Photoshop/Paint Shop Pro/Fireworks, create a new document, and then paste the image into the new document.

Gonna add some more at Coop's post:

CTRL+F5 makes a screenshot in dosbox.

You can change the directory where the screenshot is saved in dosbox.conf if you want.

Look under header [dosbox] for
captures=capture
Whatever existing dir will work, the screenshots are automatically tagged. So you can take as many as you want.
If you don't like the CTRL+F5 hotkey it can be altered with the keymapper(CTRL+F1) in dosbox (The CTRL key is afterall usually the fire button in dosbox).

Another freeware and excellent img program is Irfanview:

You can also take screenshots with it.
