I was under the impression that the dreams you remember occur in real time.

I once had this really weird dream...I don't remember if it was really a dream, but it must have been, and I've hat it two or three times. Here it is.
I'm standing somewhere, doing nothing. Then I get this strange feeling. I pull my legs off the ground, and all of a sudden, I'm floating. I move like I'm swimming, and it just feels awesome. So I'm swimming around the room (which is also weird, because everytime I dream this, I'm in my brother's room), and suddenly, it's gone. It's not that I drop down or anything, I just can't remember the rest. I either wake up, or I dream something else. Everytime I dreamed this, It was day. But once It was a late summer's evening, the air was warm, and the horizon was orange. It was beautiful. I stood in the window (in my brother's room, again), and I floated out. I rose up into the sky, and I was just sitting there in the air, looking over the street and all the houses. Then I swam over the roof and towards the next street, were I stopped in front of a window and looked inside at two people that were talking, but they didn't see me. Then, I flew (yes, I was flying now) in another direction. There's a large field in the middle of Heiligen-see (where I live), towards which I flew. I sat down on the rooftop of a house and watched the beautiful sunset. Then, I flew back to my house, entered my room through the window, lay down in my bed and immediately fell asleep. When I woke up, I had had the best sleep in my whole life. I can still remember almost everything about the dream. It's heard to describe, but I've never been so happy as in the dream. EDIT: typo. |

From your story, I can conclude that you have serious dreaming-talent. You might want to train yourself - I have the feeling it'll be easy! The rewards will be great...

I would really like to dream like that again. I'm not sure if I should
believe this whole lucid thing, but I think I'll try it. |

I can't control dreams... But I can easily wake up!
