Hey! Let's write a multiauthor story. I begin, then you continue on my last post. There has to be a order. No double posting. Let's go...

The so well organized party was about to begin. It was eight pm. Geron was sitting in the corner of his room smoking his long pipe reading the "History of the North". While he was reading everyone else was preparing for the party. There were about eleven shorter gnomes carrying dishes, food, drink, deserts and all other stuff outside were the party is going to take place. As Geron finished reading the paragraph, he saw a man outside that he couldn't recognize. . .

the term we usualy use is "storytelling thread". these are usualy popular.
and I allso find it funny that your title is Hobit, while your story sort of resembles the beggining of "hobbit".

He was much taller than Geron, as most new creatures to the area often are. This man appeared much older than Geron, and was most certainly a human. Clad in wizard's garb, the older man outside the door rapped loudly with a staff on the circular wooden door...

"geron" he bellowed, "geron, you better have the 80 gold pieces you owe me for that pipe rock or there will be hell to pay". geron looked up with glazed eyes as the gnomes scattered squeling in terror "oh sh*t" he mumbled and tried to jump up, failed and ended up sprawled on the floor.

"Hey, you! Put out yer bleedin' pipe at once, d'you hear me? I can smell the smoke all the way to me own house and you know full well that them picturesque thatched roofs burn down in no time. If you keep it up I swear I shall raise your rent. My wife was right; I never should have accepted a gnome with tobacco stains on all his fingers in the first place..."
The wizard landlord left again, grumbling, and Geron heaved a deep sigh. "I really should consider moving to a different place. A place where a gnome can smoke his pipe in peace without being disturbed by his busybody of a landlord all the time. A place without fire regulations. A place like..."
