Default Kind of 1-st person game with cool intro

Trying to find the name of a game I played when I was young.

I think I played it in the 90's

Not sure what kind of PC it was, but it ran on either DOS or Win3.1 or Win95.

I remember that the opening cinematic was a 2d cartoon about 2 kids (a boy and a girl) reading a book while an old white haired guy was singing behind them and ended up trapping the girl in the book I think.
The game itself was 1-st person in a maze of some sort and the first enemies where giant spiders.

The sound had speech (at least in the intro)

Pretty please if someone knows the game I'm talking about, shout it out
