DOSBox and PulseAudio
I recently installed Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala, and now DOSBox has no sound, because ALSA doesn't function correctly in Ubuntu 9.10. I checked the dosbox.conf file, and there seems to be no pulseaudio option for the sound device. Any workarounds will be most appreciated. I can't stand to play Lemmings without music!

I'd say that was fast. I mean, you have installed 9.10 already. I am still on 9.04. Will install 9.10 in the next couple of days, provided that I have the time.

OK, I found that I can get the sound working (barely) by changing the device= option to device=default instead of alsa.
However, the sound still skips, seemingly at random.

Take a walk on the Ubuntu forums, you're not the only one with that specific problem .....
Me guess it will be sorted out sooner or later.
