Ok, this might be a dumb question. But I just cannot find the answer.
Where could I obtain external subtitle files, particularly for various anime? Thanks.

Haven't tried for anime, but everything I've needed I've found most easily with Google, by searching for "[name of the movie]" + subtitles.. You've probably tried that already, though..
There are certain sites for those, but I've always found it easier to use Google, so you find the correct site right away. I also don't remember any sites now.. So.. I probably wasn't of any help.. Umm.. You're welcome..

English. The Polish subtitles are invariably screwed-up by so-called "professional translators".

Well, all I know is that the file extension name is .sbt. I'm prety sure it is.
