Does anyone still have these from the old BBSs? Would be nice since they were both a load of fun. Sopwith was very simple, but solar 1 had a neat plot and great music.

Are we allowed to post links to other abandonware sites?
Try a google search. I found Solar Winds fairly quickly. (if you still can't find it and we are allowed to link, I'll post it later) |

yeah, as soon as I remembered the full name it came up quick. It was a lot of fun, but I never heard of a sequal to it. Just that taste... what a waste

Sopwith was easy to find too. I'm assuming that you found it as well, but I figured I'd still post this in case you hadn't found it yet.

If Solar Wind is shareware (and I am pretty sure it is), then you have 95% change that it is not abadonware... So not linking to the site was a good move, Griezel. k:

found both of these with a little bit of searching. Both on sites I've never downloaded from.

Thanks Eagle, I was pretty sure linking wasn't the best idea, but I couldn't find an actual list of forum rules anywhere so I just assumed it was a bad idea until I found out otherwise. But is there an actual list somewhere? |
