Quite obviously there is 4, 3 if you don't count white as a color. It's a very basic MS Paint picture, and the illusion would only happen if you zoom out the picture.

Actually, there are 3 if you count white.... two hues... green and red...

Our experience make us to believe the ball is zigzagging. If you take closer look at yellow line, you will see that shadow is zigzagging, not the ball!
