Microsoft released the XNA Game Studio Express. It's a framework with which you can develop games for XP and XBox360! I've played with it yesterday (finished some tutorials) and was pleasantly surprised. It's not excactly groundbreaking in any way (there are plenty of frameworks that do the same), but I could get a simple game up and running in C# in a small amount of time! Best of all, as long as you don;t want to publish your game on the 360, all tools are free! :w00t:

So, anyone have any thought on this? Anyone else toyed with XNA? (You can keep quiet if you only want to bash M$)
