installed this and executed exe file and laptop plays high tone
and doesnt want to restart properly.
always have to recover boot.
what happened to my laptop?
what did this game do to my laptop?
help please...

does your laptop work when you boot in the recovery mode ?

if you use win98, there might be some problem in autoexec.bat

using xp
it did recovery boot twice but now im in big trouble,
it always plays this beep sound. and starts up very slow too.
i had to recover cd my whole system and still is does the beep sound.
i think i might bin the laptop now...

i think your laptop probably was sort of rubbish before that game and it just totally crashed coincidently while being in the game ... errm ... or something like it.

never heard of such a thing.

what excatly does it while beeping? does it shpow anything? is it a beep from the sound card or (emulated) speaker? did you run the game natively in win XP or did you use DOSBox ?
What do the system messages tell ya?

Likely that he hasn't used DosBox. That might result in such screw-ups, but to me it seems that the problem may be more hardware-based.

Yeah, but do you remember when you could tell win 98 to start the application always in full Dos-environment? Could it be similar?!

Lisence to Kill runs in the default Windows emu of Win 2K perfectly.
