I can't get it to work (downloaded the set from this site) tried DosBOX and Radnor for OSX 10.3.6. Got it to load but I get an error with the exe install. It says it's damaged?

Make sure you've extracted all the stuff in the zip file somewhere before you run install.exe. Apart from that, I never used DOSBox to install it, only to play it. I just installed it through Windows.

Okay after unzipping there is a install.bin, install.dat, install.exe, along with three td123 files. I can't decode the install.bin with stuffit. I can run the exe file in Dosbox but I get an error somethings wrong with the install.exe message. And the Install.dat I haven't even got a clue.

The only file you need to work with yourself is install.exe -- it uses the other files.

Try downloading the zip file again in case your download got corrupted, and try installing it outside of DOSBox. Make sure your computer is virus-free as well. If none of that works then I can email you a pre-installed copy, but I don't know if that will work for you either -- you shouldn't be having these problems with the install unless one of those files is corrupted or missing.

I loved the shareware version of this game. loved it. But does anyone else here think that the plot just dies after the first chapter? Some of the missions can be done in less than a minute, and the ending... god, the ending was a huge disappointment ( don't worry, no spoilers ) Still, thanks for reuniting me with a lost love guys - I'll just have to take off the rose tinted glasses next time!

You need all 6 files in the zip file, not just the .bin file.
  • Download the zip file.
  • Extract all 6 files to the same place.
  • Run INSTALL.EXE (from Windows or DosBox, shouldn't matter).
  • Tell it which drive and directory to install to.
  • Run TD1.EXE, TD2.EXE or TD3.EXE from that installed directory.
