Someone mentioned Carmageddon. Seeing this filled me with love for this timeless classic. I still play Carmageddon 2 - in fact I was about to push off and play it when I saw this topic. I looked around on the internet recently and while there are a few sites, they're really just small mod sites with a tiny forum community, linked tightly to all the other tiny Carmageddon communities to make a total of about 60 members. It makes me very sad, and worst of all, although many of them talk about making the game playable online, they never seem to get up off their backsides and just do it, mainly due to the tiny size of the community leaving them with no skilled programmers. So in closing, I'd say, it's not a remake I'd like to see, rather an unfulfilled promise - Carmageddon 4, of which there has been no news for about 3 years. It just died, without so much as a sorry from SCi.

They should remake Settlers 2 because it'd be really cool to have a remake of a remake.

They should remake Neuromancer. It's a seminal sci-fi book, which became fashion again cause of this 80s revival going on, and would be a really cool game.

I'd like to see the Fallout games remade with a cleaner engine.

Oooh.
UFO: Enemy Unknown. Keep it exactly the same. But have the option to play from the Aliens side. A whole new world of Alien fun would be within our grasp. Unless they've done that already? I've only played up to the underwater version. But that would be awesome. |

Unless it's for a hand held, no one's gonna leave it looking exactly the same.
