Isometric fantasy castle builder/fort defense
Played around 2005-2010, game's probably older though.
Played on PC/Windows XP probably. Isometric perspective, faux 3D. Strategy game. You start off as a wooden fort on a green hill. I remember that as the days go by you get attacked/approached by enemies and you must defend. The battles aren't actually shown, you just get a results screen. Slowly you upgrade your castle to stone etc. Also, you progress to different stages as you get stronger. Enemies get stronger and at the end you face of against a dragon I think? Don't really remember much about characters. |

Unless it's bit more modern graphics you mean, might be Siege.
Another possible shot in the dark - Stronghold (GoG). Or have a look on Mobygames for a bigger list of stronghold defense games. |

Nah, it isn't one of those sadly, but thanks for the effort.
You don't actually build individual walls on a faux 3D map. It's just one castle/fort, on a hill, in the middle of the screen all the time. I think you accumulate mana that allows the castle to teleport to the next stage. Kinda trippy when said out loud lol |

It would help if you could remember something about gameplay. What do you do in game?

You start off as just a wooden fort on a green hill. You click to make the days go by, there is no animation. As the days go by you accumulate resources that allow you to upgrade to stone walls, towers etc. Also, every couple days or so you get approached by enemies/npcs and I believe you have a choice either to fight or to flee. There is no battle shown, you just get a results screen. The point of the game is to accumulate mana which allows you to access the next stage. After maybe 10 stages for example you reach the final boss which could be a dragon, I'm not sure.

Hmm, now I understand the gameplay. Standard tactics, where you, possibly, can buy/sell land, grow/shrink army and build something...
Only I didn't see anything exactly like that you described. Sorry. |
