works fine with me...

i think later versions had a lot of bugs fixed and it wont' work s,ow at all on that computer (remember it had 16MB RAM as recomended, so even 32 runs it swell). just make sure you get some version like SE or SP2 :-) dont' know how it was called for 95...

I've been on the first release -(yes I'm old :/)-, and it was close to hell on the workspace.

Also used later the so called OSR2, that is the one you should use, that was a real improvement towards the first release.
W95-OSR2 will run fine on 40MB RAM.

I remember i didnt' want to switch to WIN95 when it came out because (liek most MS products) had a lot of bug. A LOT!

But later on i decided to upgrade the 3.11, because WIN95 had better word (which i needed) and also i read that it ran more smoothly. not to mention that internet connection was much easier (remember that typing you had to do before in those terminal programmes?)

I've seen a few copies on ebay. You could try that or Amazon.

Like with many other MS programs, all you really need is a license and a legal CD-key.
Where you get the CD itself is another matter altogether.
