I have a couple of machines.

My main computer is AMD A64 3400+, 1GB DDR RAM, 240GB HDD, 9600PRO (will be upgrading very shortly)

My old computer is Athlon 900Mhrz, 384 SDRAM, 30GB HDD, GF2MX (this one is for sale if you want it)

I also have a decades old MSX (50Hz, 64KB RAM don't laugh it was a nice machine in its time)

Lastly I own a Pocket PC iPaq rx3715

Moved to technical stuff as it belongs here.

Is 64bit machine worth to get?

Also, I asume that your video card is AGP. Is it worth to get that new kind of video cards? (with possibility to have 2 video cards in the same PC)

I have the standard 32bit XP windows so I do not use the 64bit possibilities but even as a 32bit computer this thing is bloody fast. If you want a high end games computer AMD are better then Intel (cheaper and slightly faster in game performance then their intel equivalent CPU's). If you plan on buying a computer today getting a PCIe equipt motherboard is a must. Next generation videocards will likely not even be released in APG versions and at any rate, PCIe videocards are cheaper then AGP equipt ones (yes my bord still has AGP). I cannot say if getting a SLI (2 cards) videocard setup is a good choice but it certianly will be cheaper to get one mid range video card (or top end whatever you like) and getting another one once you have the money and you notice that your game performance is falling below what you would like it to be. Note two things though if you go down that path. You will need a motherboard that has TWO (2) PCIe slots and in order for this to work you need to have two identical video cards that support SLI.

Got couple P90 and P100 (4 in total) - all dells, no OS loaded yet (waiting for more room in basement)
P200 Hawell-Packard - Win95
P233 Compaq - Win98
Dell PIII 450MHz - Win98/DOS - Using for games
Athlon XP2100 - WinXP Pro - programming, design and gaming
Dell P4 2.4 server with 520GB storage capacity

P133, 64MB memory - that serves as firewall for home network. On for long time... in the basement biggrin.gif

Dell's laptop P4 2.4GHz, 512 ram, nVidia mobile chipset with 64MB DDR memory, CD-RW/DVD combo. Using it for work and school. Also as DOSBox platform and for emulators (more then 10 emulators loaded on it biggrin.gif)
I admit you have better collection (520GB HDD ). About that firewall, I thought to make the same thing, but didn't. Maybe now I will.

When I first heard of PCIe from my friend I laugh because I thought it was a joke, then I realised it wasn't, and then I laugh again. LOL

My best one is the one I've rebuilt myself and am currently using.
Its a AMD Sempron 1.5 GHz cpu with 7200rpm 30gig HD, 384megs of RAM, 32x CD-RW, really really really old DVD drive,
with Radeon 9600 :-) and onboard sound.

My others include
Power Mac G3
Modded Pent III Dell

Not much, but it works k:

I have only one computer, and my specs are:

Intel Pentium 4 3.0 HT
1GB DDR
ATI Radeon 9800 PRO 128 MB
HDD 120GB
NEC ND-1300A DVD+/- R/RW drive
...
and goddamn 56k modem connection!

However, my father has 4 computers (1 laptop), but he doesn't allow me near them... confidential data, he says! :ranting:
