@Urbanraven: i used to have the original as well, then I lent it to somebody and never saw it again.

If you're stuck there's a link to a walkthrough on the game's page.
Thank you

Could anyone tell me the author of the novels behind the game? with the game being so briliant it would be logical if the noavels were good.

Yes they are the same. The series is called, the Death's Gate Cycle. It is seven books long. Very much worth reading, I think that it is better than any of the Dragonlance books they wrote.

!!!!!!!Spoilers Below!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a question, I"m playing through, and I can't get the amulet in Skurvash. I've checked the walkthrough, and the problem is I can't get the clock in the merchant's house to reveal the hidden compartment. I figured out the correct sequence to use, but is seems that the clock starts pointing at the place I need to move it to. Can anyone help me out here, am I missing something that I'm going to shoot myself for not seeing before??

try this:
triange (clockwise, with initial being 0):
3rd,1st,4th.

P.S. I haven't read any dragonlance yet (I was interested because several of the Gold Box games are set there), but I will try to find the Death gate at affordable price somwhere. it should be a good reading.

You need to point the longer part of the pointer toward one of the yellow marks on the side. The short part of the pointer will point at a word at this point. I think you can figure it out from here.

What I always finds frustrating about this game is that I'm sometimes too impatient to find out what to do . So therefore I would like to thank the guy who fixed the walkthrough! Without it I would have been strucked in the game which, probably, would have resultated with me uninstalling the game while mumbling something like "old stupid harcore-level game" .
