It's the 12 pieces in the facebook album that are actually from games. My bad if that wasn't clear to everyone. I love the enthusiasm though. And sorry, it wasn't my intent to make you guess 100 games. That actually reminds me of the very long and hard quiz that was held here at AB some time (years?) ago. The screenshot section especially drived me crazy.

Anyway, these are the actual 12 (out of the 100) that were inspired by games:

Congratz to Arete for being very close with the cactus guess. Here's a hint to the actual game (it's not on AB though):

Nope, not Skate or Die. God, was I the only one in love with that game? Well, actually, I only played it once or twice at my cousin's place, but that didn't stop me from starring at the screenshot of that half pipe. The colors on my version are from the Amiga version though. Hint: there's the Hollywood sign in the background.

Haha I had the opposite problem. I remembered it being only blue and white for some reason.

My memory sucks

ok, heres my shot at the pics...

1st row: (left to right)
- SimCity, some kind of intersection
- Monkey Island - the rubber chicken used to get to Hook Island
- Conquests of Longbow - Robin Hood
- no clue. Life and Death - The Brain?

2nd row, left to right
- Lotus Challenge (or any Lotus Style Game at that)
- whatever really old game that is you referred to. wouldnt have a clue
- EDIT: Ok, just saw it was Daggerfall. Odd, how i refrained from saying "something with a dagger" for no reason before i read that someone already solved THAT one
- Red Baron

3rd row, left to right
- as mentioned before, that looks pretty much like california games
- first i thought it looked like some miners tool, but on 2nd look, it looks more like a Chairoplane... so... how about ThemePark (or any of its clones)
- The Sims? or, from the perspective, maybe d/Generation
- Tetris. Or BlockOut?

Nice Pixelwork, btw!
