Hi. I need some help. After a month of having no computer :blink: having destroyed mine, I got a iMac. Which is great, aside from the fact that I can't get DOSBox to do what I need it to do in the preferances Ex. mount from "C." Does anyone else have a mac with DOSBox? Could you please help?

what do you want and what did you try ?
as far as I know should mount c ~/ work

Well. I tried to just get the setup i'm familiar with. I have a folder named DOS in my home folder, and in it are the folders CDrive, DOSBOX, Flies, ISO ect. ect. This is what I have in the preferances.
# Place commands here that should be executed within DOSBox at startup. # [autoexec] #@ECHO OFF #MOUNT C: /Users/Sam/DOS/Cdrive #MOUNT D: /Volumes/DFORCES #C: #IPXNET STARTSERVER 2130 #IPXNET STATUS |

DOSBox ignores any lines in the config that start with the # symbol.

hmm... I removed the #'s, but nothing in [autoexec] works, not even clear screen. I tried to make it simple so this is all I have left.
[autoexec] MOUNT C: "/DOS" C: CLS I can just type all this in when I get the Z:\> prompt, but it seems strange that the autoexec isn't working. |

hmm I doubt that is going to work.
Why would you have a directory /DOS in your root ? remove the cls and see that you are trying to mount an unexiting directory

well, because I use two different accounts, and thought it would be easier just to have the folder with all the DOS games in the root directory. And I can use DOSBox and it works when I type in MOUNT C: "/DOS", C:, CLS but it just does not run the autoexec part of the preferences. What makes this more complicated is that the preferences are in the right place, and DOSBox respond to preferences such as full screen.
