The Adventure Company has very little games I actually enjoyed and I'm a major adventure games fan. Why? All those games suffer from the same problem:

- clunky interface (come on, writing an adventure game interface is something they got spot on since Beneath A Steel Sky in 1994)

- uninteresting characters

- no comedy - very very dry games

- very stale locations

The puzzle aspect is usually sound but the rest is meh. I've played about two thirds of all their adventure games and I really don't remember one I enjoyed. Syberia is popular but I thought it was a 7/10 game at most.

Where are the adventure games that manage to combine the serious with the funny? Broken Sword, Beneath A Steel Sky, The Dig, Full Throttle, Kyrandia series, Leisure Suit Larry, Space Quest, etc. They all got it right and suddenly, it's like any developer with a sense of humour got wiped off the face of the earth!

ok,I am a major fan of humour in adventure games but I dont know if that alone would stop me getting the game although couple with the other points you make I might be looking to try a few demos before getting these.

You're an imbecile, I've played at least Dead Reefs and Nibiru and they were better than good.
Stop judging games you haven't even played, maybe you'd be enjoying Freedom Force now if you weren't busy playing your 500th crappy cloned shooter _r.u.s.s.

i played nibiru, return to mysterious island, keepsake and they sucked. and btw i don't have even time to finish freaking dizzy for amiga i downloaded while ago
