I believe we just rot. Nothing more, nothing less. Then the coffin rots too, and you become dirt. I think dirt suits us well.
Unless you're cremated, then you maybe spread around and stuff. I'll be cremated, and I'll be thrown in the sea by my hometown. Don't care if it's illegal, only one person has to know Then I'll be little dusty fibers in the sea.

I just believe we cease to exist, spiritually. Our neuron paths shut down, and without the ability to execute thought, we halt everything.

i agree

Like my signature says, our material short life is an (unique) opportunity to choose.
If you choose love, afther the death you'll have the perfect love in a different kind of existence. Obviously, God is love, so you'll live "into" God (but we're living in Him even now) in a perfect new different kind of reality (please don't tell me that's boring before we've tried it, ok? )
If you choose egoism, well, you'll live in a hell of loneliness and selfishness...

I believe in no afterlife. I believe in turning into fossil fuel.

Sounds to me pretty much like the christian view of afterlife. If you're good, you'll come to god, if you're bad, you go to hell

Oh yes!

I've just explained it with my words to make clear that it's not the hell with flames and the paradise over the clouds...

For ones it's rotting, for others living on. To everyone what he prefers.

Who says that if there's an afterlife, it's a condition that can be understand by our current limitation of five senses? And if so, who says we all share the same place or places, or that any religion's afterlife is good for all?
