Alright, Eagle of Fire said to me not to use Phoenix Down and resurect ancient posts, so there's a new one:

Have you tried playing it in DosBox? Here's a link for it, and there's also a tutorial if you are unsure how to work DosBox.

instead of crashing it will halt for about a minute or so.
Then it will continue and all future houses are fine. (this is when run in dosbox)

Well, Data, it's no use... I've managed to put the first house and, indeed, the game moved again. But then I buy the second house and there you go, it goes on the slowest speed ever...
Oh, yes, I think it's good to remember that I'm trying in DOSBox, cuz in Wondows it never loads What can I do? |
