I think an important category was missed when you left out dual boot systems, so I ticked 'other' for Win98SE dual booting with Mandrake 9.2.

And I thought I had included everything .
Sorry, but if I had included a dual boot option,
there would have been twice as many possible answers,
and they're limited to 30.

I do not want to cause a fight but I have always hated windows 95 original version because of how unstable it is but the osr addons especially the lastest made it so much better.

Even if there'll be an Mac OS for normal "IBM compatible" PC's, I won't use it because there is too little software for it...
That is exactly the kind of thing that keeps people from
switching. Because windows still has millions more crappy
homebrew progs. Can't blame you though, there are more
games for Windows. That's why I have a mac, a PC and soon
a DOS laptop. Eventhough w!ndows is crap, it's good to be
fully compatible.

EDIT:
I heard that Apple is thinking about making the Intel Macs able to dual boot win and mac os x. you should try it. believe me, it's worth it. Back me up here, swiss :bye: [/b][/quote]
Grinder, it is fine if you are an Apple boy or whatever, and you can hate Microsoft since it is a far more succesful company than Apple is, but comments like the above about millions more crappy homebrew progs is really really STUPID (not smart).
You see, saying the above you are either calling the people who prefer windows, stupid, since they use those millions of crap programs, or you are calling the programmers not capable of writing a good piece of code. Either of them you are way off. Feeling jealous that there aren't as many programs for the Apple computers? Blame Apple for not allowing any realistic way of making compatible Apples for not them having a greater foothold on the market than they do. Also, monopolisticaly high prices (makes you wonder if Apple was in the position Microsoft is how much better they would be, you know, with a dimm of 512mb ram costing half a million dollars and all)
Step down from the Apple clouds you are flying or you risk in the future hitting the ground hard.

I use WinXP. Also i set up two virtual machines running DOS and Win98 SE.
That does satisfy all my needs.

Have I missed something important, not knowing what "TOS" might be?
Maybe an OS for oldschool Trekkies? ("Boot me up, Scotty!")

TOS is The Operating System. The operating system of the Atari ST line of computers. (not only actualy since versions of it were also in the TT and Falcon lines), combined with the GEM made the heart behind those machines.
Think of ultra basic OS in ROM with plug and play compatibility, no software embedded with the OS as an extra.
