The first operating system I used was DOS (don't remember which version), with Windows 3.1 installed with it.

Smooth Operaatooor
Anyway, since the Commodore doesn't really qualify as a computer with an OS, I have to say MS-DOS 5.0. And Win 3.1, NC and the likes are not OSes *runs away from the public revenge*

Tandy TRS-80 BASIC, though I barely understood more than typing "LOAD" and pressing play on the cassette tape back then.
The first OS I remember actually taking an interest in the version was DOS 5, I'm unsure if I had versions earlier than that. I even recall intentionally upgrading to DOS 6.2 so I could use DoubleSpace. Then along came Windows, I used every iteration from 3.0 through to XP though I got sick of that when Vista was annouced and switched to Linux. DOSBox runs on everything these days anyway. |

DOS, although I do not remember which one. Most likely IBM PC DOS instead of MS-DOS.
