Hello, I recently registered here as a user so I could ask for your assistance, in trying to find an old game that I played about a year ago but for the life of me can't remember.

Now for the details. If I remember correctly it seemed to be a remake of an old game that was like a cross between Star Control, Master of Orion, and Starflight. The reason I think it was a remake, is because if I remember correctly a group was updating it to be played on todays computers but had to change a few things as not to break copyright.

The gameplay was like Master of Orion in the fact that you could build, design, and send your ships across the galaxy to conquer other stars. Explore other star systems, fight empires, colonize other worlds. But the combat was more like Star Control and Starflight where it was actually along the lines of arcade games. Where you actually control your ships. However If my memory serves me the movement control was a bit limited, but still arcade style.

And some point in the game, I think was a scientist states on a splash screen that our homeworlds star is going to go supernova so we have to colonize another world or something. At the time when I was playing it, it didn't seem all that great. But ever since I have been playing the UrQuan Masters I just wanna play this game again.

So any help in finding its name, or the website to it would be great. I thank you all for taking the time to read this. If I can come up with more details if i remember them later I will post them immediately.
