Wow, I think I remember playing this ages ago on my dad's old machine. I remember it being pretty weird.

I remember this from Sega Mega Drive II, maximum bad graphics but very good gameplay, its a challenging game as well.

Could somebody upload a floppy image of Altered Beast? I'm missing the Hercules graphics mode.

All missing the HCG mode. Those crackers from the 20th century sure were too stupid to install the games fully. But thanks anyway.

One of my favorite action titles. I remembered that I finished the arcade version.

One of the first games I played on PC. At first, I found the game difficult, but I got used to it and quickly beated the game. I do not even remember the end of the game, but I had a lot of fun.

The arcade and Genesis / Mega Drive versions were pretty cool, thanks to the superior hardware. The computer versions, however... they were kinda meh. Activision did better with other Sega arcade conversions, such as "Afterburner" and "Power Drift". Here, however, graphics are too ugly and move too slowly to make the game any memorable.

Ummm... Perhaps, to compensate for this “deficiency” of the PC game version, it would be enough to add Beauty to beautify the monitor screen...

It would be Beauty and the Altered Beast!
