I'm tired of the old avatar, and I want a new one. My new candidate is a 100x100 <30 kb jpg, but everytime I update the avatar, the old one re-appears. What is going on here?

Sorry to sound like a fool, but I have the same problem, but I'm using internet explorer.
(I'd prefer firefox, but damn company website doesn't work properly in firefox)
