I found that the atmosphere created in the game overcame such plot holes, even when trying to grapple over the walls. I guess one just has to be lucky enough to be able to immerse oneself in it to ignore such things. Which I suppose is true for most games. This one in particular is pretty supersonic, however.

Random note, There are actually 4 games in the CHZO Mythos.
5 Days a stranger
7 Days a Skeptic
Trilbys Notes
6 Days a Sacrifice.

Play them all and you'll not regret it.

Also you can download the Special editions for free from Fullyramblomatic.

Thats it.

Default Great Fun!

I just finished 5 Days A Stranger. I loved the walk down memory lane with the graphics, but the story was really creepy and the ending was very satisfying. Add this to your must play list. I think it has been over a year since anyone posted on this game...it's got staying power!

He makes a pretty good adventure game thats for sure. At first I thought these games were just stupid home made games, but after playing 5 Days a Stranger I now feel they are very well made home made games. If he had of had a full team of artists and programers helping it this game would be a best seller and adventure games would not be forgotten classics.

The whole point of this being a freeware game, is that it's not supposed to be a 'best seller'. It was made for the love of games, not for profit.

Why don't you give other freeware games a try? Most of them are just as good, if not better, than commercial games.

Don't worry Frodo I learnt my mistake with this game. I didn't mean it would have been better as a commercial game, just that it would have been good as one too.

Amazing game, with an amazing storyline. Some scenes DID give me quite a scare, and my heart was pounding strongly the entire game.

Really, this game was better than many commercial adventures out there. A bit too short, but great!
