Hi, does anyone know how I can change all the crappy MIDI noice into the original Amiga sound? I've only yet been able to play pinball fantasies with original amiga sound. Does anyone know how to change the sound?

Are you talking about Amiga emulation? What emu are you using?

No matter what you do, the PC games of that era will always sound worse than their Amiga counterparts, at least until a certain year where they managed to bring PC soundcard up to par with the Amiga chip. If you really care for a game's sound, your best bet is to download the Amiga version, if available.

A good page with Amiga games and their soundtracks is: http://www.back2roots.org

Hmm, this is already the third thread today that I posted about Amiga. I hereby declare this day the official Mad-E-Fact Nostalgia Day!

Note sure if admins will allow links for the site with amiga stuff.

Back to roots holds only abandoned games, and games that developer/publisher gave them permision to host. (ISDA was not able to close them, and they avoided site after incident that they contacted host without admins knowledge)

I agree that amiga's sound was very good at the time, and that most of conversions were really bad. Just compare Superfrog with amiga's one and you'll get the picture.

ps. Use WinUAE emulator, but you need roms, which you can only get from Cloanto (hint: Google is your friend)

Sure they do. Why would they not allow it?
