Well, thank you everyone. r.u.s.s, I thank you for the pillow idea. I've managed to fix the soundcard drivers. Another reinstall simply did it. Now "setupsa.exe", the soundcard original mixer software is working.

No, my soundcard doesn't have volume knobs. Actually, my speaker isn't a "cheapass" speaker, it's a mono speaker made for an old surround sound system. And, well, I have a Headfone with volume control, but it doesn't fit two heads same time, so doesn't work for Hot Seat multiplayer.

I made some good job after some googleing, got a nice config.sys with a boot menu. Autoexec.bat knows what OS I choose and load correct instructions for windows/dos.

But now... I'll open another thread. About EMS memory games.
