The graphics aren't displaying properly. I'm running it under XP with DOSBox 0.61. When Larry moves, it streaks behind him, like the background isn't refreshing or something.

Anyone have this problem?

I have that problem too, if I open the game in dosbox. But on my computer it runs fine in pure xp, without any errors! Try that.

Those really old games, like Leisure Suit Larry 1, are AGI games. It stands for Adventure Game Interpreter. Nagi stands for New Adventure Game Interpreter. It's one made by Nick Sonneveld in order to run adventure games like these under Windows and Windows XP.

How do I open the file. The properties do not show what type of file it is. All it shows is file (i.e. type of file: file).

You mean the file agi? It's a checkup file without an extension. Needed to run the game with the old interpreter, but to start the game itself with the old one, just run the .exe file.

Don't worry, that's something that can happen now and then, when you're a bit confused.
