I have XP first of all, when i had 98 i never had problems.

Running the file: DOS4GW (on VDMS, doesnt work normally) - It says "DOS/4GW fatal error (1004): syntax is DOS4GW

NETHERW (on VDMS, doesnt work normally) - It goes black stays like that for 5-10 seconds, than a windoes message says virtual memory minimum too low.

NETHERW (on dosbox) - It enters the game, all the menus like save game, load game, new game have something like " o " or " X O " replacing them each time i load it up. When i click on the head with the crossed arms it just exits the game.

any help would be greatly appreciated,

First of all do not run the file DOS4GW.Have you tried compatibility mode? Right click on the icon, and go to the compatibility tab. This is a DOS game, but setting the compatibility to W98 might make it work.I have no experience whatsoever with DosBox, so i can't help you there
