help with DFend and DOSBox
Hi,
I'm having the same problem and I'm still confused as to what to do. I get the error message that it can't run on a 64 bit machine and I need to check for a different version of the game. I am using the D-fend reloader. I have installed Earl Weaver Baseball in that folder. Is there anything I can do to get this to run? Thank you very much for any help! |

If you have "64-bit" warning, it means that you are starting game directly, while you must have it run in DOSBox.
I am not very familiar with D-fend, but first guess would be: do you have DosBox itself installed? D-Fend is only frontend for it, AFAIK... |

Thanks for the reply.
DosBox is installed in the D-fend folder. I tested it by double clicking on it from within that folder and it did start up. |

Umm... Ok, I will get D-fend for myself then.
... 1. I got D-fend Reloaded. 2. It really have DOSBox pre-installed. 3. I started D-Fend by link created by installer. I received list of games (that is empty, except one entry, and it is DOSBox itself). 4. To actually add game, I need to press "add entry" and select game starting file and entry name (at least. There are more parameters of course). 5. After that I am able to start game double-clicking new added entry. Do you doing the same? |
