When you blow up the reactor some doors close and some doors/stairs which were previously closed are opened.
Soldiers or robots which ignored you before might attack now so cleaning up everything before blowing up the reactor might be a good idea, you'll get free XP and loot, they won't survive the self-destruction process anyway.

Those power armor guards on the lowest level are really hard to fight, they have the best weapons, very high initiave, many AP and score many criticals, they brought my hero down to earth too. Critical hits by turrets were the only thing my hero had to fear when he wiped out the upper levels before.

BTW one time I did it and door was open, but hurrying idiotically I didn't save, and entering these 10 rooms forgot my commandos were in Stop mode und alles kaput..

Leave the party when you arrive where I already told you, and go around that way peacefully. Have at some weapons and 2 explosives on you.

Going around:

There is a scientist to talk to who can release FEV to make your life easier, and you can take the President's key. If it is not avaiable to steal - I'm not sure -, then arm an explosive, then use steal to give it to the President, and take the key from his body.

What to do:

After you initiadet the self-destruction protocol the doors you arrived with will close. But there will be another set of doors what will open at the same time (some emergency stairs, I think at the botom of the screen).

The way back:

1) you can rehire your party if you left them outside the room with turrets.
2) Aroiund the same place will stand some Enclave-soldiers, who are not hostile. If you are good at it, you can convince them to fight on your side.
3) If you have the Persident's key, you can sneak along the walls of the turret-room, and activate the turrets yourself (they'll support you instead of Horrigan) with the terminal in the room."

Then ask You if any problem.
Now again but without fails.

..For the situation now:
1. You told me to stop my commandos after turrets zone.I did it and alone inspect the guard's barracks.
2. I know what to do in Presidential area, but have some problem with blast doors.
2a: I think that the very north door is directed to guard's barracks.. and no good exit.
2b: The door that I used to enter Presidential area is correct door..
3.Will do.
4. I want to use an option to command turrets to kill Frank without any shot of the brave army.

Vault city - this witch will be send to martial court and sentenced to dead penalty.

Most people plans some more play after the Enclave, because there will be new things after that in New Reno and Vault City.

I only miss a "bad ending" for Arroyo in case you don't have a G.E.C.K. That'd be awesome.

I cleaned Presidential area already when a shot of Cassidy killed USA president.
Sadly we do not find the Key card in his dead body, so I have to start campaign again.

Well, you can't just rush Big Frank head-on and hope to survive unless you are level 50 or such. I recommend engaging from the corridor, try to get some cover and let the Enclave Fodder die as meatshields. If you are the sniper type, you can try crippling his arms and legs.

Also, with presidential pass you can override the turrets to engage him, but I think it only works from the terminal in the center of room.

Yes, the peridental key works that way (I told this just above, khm).

But any requirement of level or something is simply not true. With some luck, the fight against Horrigan can be won on ridiculously low level (technically can be said level 1) with all the help you can get.

A real hero doesn't need the presidential access key. My character killed the turrets beforehand and defeated Horrigan without their support. Even fighting him and the turrets together isn't too difficult for a real hero.
