and that's why I prefer Unreal when it comes to interactive introductions. You can either choose to rush out for the action or browse through all the logs for the storyline.

I like the dream introduction of Zak McCracken. It still makes me smile for a while whenever I see it

The introductions for Sam & Max and Monkey Island 2 are great too ofcourse. Looks like I have to check out Fallout, haven't played it yet.

Yeah, Half-Life's definitely gets annoying after a while, Fallout's is excellent stuff; one of my personal favourites has to be C&C - fresh and original (at the time!) - who'd equate TV and computer?

Not messy so much... at least not in game. They do make a squishing sound though... kinda like stepping on a 'roach. The best/worst part is that you can do the same thing in game.
