If you do the season mode then make sure that you start off against the worst team (Revolver I think).

Then upgrade one guy (ideally CF) and use his pace to do stuff like collect all the bonuses.

Upgrade down the middle first and do the wing players last. In the early games keep it simple and down the middle.

Yeeeeehaaa !!!

I played this game to death and beyond, just like its predecessor. Who says brilliant hard-crack-like addictive games must be over 0.5 MB ? You gotta love these guys, all their games are great.

Muchos gracias,
Lodewijk

This game awakes some old memories in me, back to the golden amiga days..(i had really a relationship with my amiga 5000, because it was my first computer, and like in reality, you never forget your first Girlfriend/- you never forget your first Computer)
Speedball2 whas one of my favorite games on my Amiga 5000, well one of many.

Now with the multiplayer support for the PC version, it's even more fun to play SB2

Big thx! k:

Wow! Fraction rating!

I remember playing this game both on PC and Amiga, the Amiga version was better.
What a surprise. LOL LOL LOL

Had Amiga version, and I bought GBA and PS1 versions (someone else mentioned it above), but nothing beats feeling with Amiga version of this game.

Awesome game, I played forever on my AtariST1040. The way to go for season play was to concentrate on grabbing all the coins to train *only* 1-2 players in your original team to full stats (300 was the max stat limit if I remember right). You could concentrate more on getting coins than scoring goals for the first 3 matches. The other half of my strategy was to look at the free agent speedball players that would come up for hire after every match...there would always be 0-1 players that were "superstars", meaning they had great stats and one over the 300 max score. Get those and put them where they would do best (you could move your trained ball players to different positions if necessary). At the end I would have 4-5 free agent superstars and my 2 fully upgraded players, which could always beat the snot out of the championship team.

looking for this game is what got me into older games and ultimately finding abandonia. enough said.

once you get the lead, i find its best to stop trying to score and use your fastest guy to just run around getting coins. it becomes easy with the transfers and a good CF, if hes really good you can just do a straight run.

the straight run
get the ball then just chrage straight into thier player, pass him the ball then tackle him and continue the same through the Mid and Keeper. it dosent work against really good teams. but with the first CF transfer he should be much better than the other teams players. i find it easier to do when scoring down field.
