thanks but when i open dosbox the pormpt is z:\ instead of c:\. i tried mount c d:\ like it told me in the readme but it didnt do anything.

Probably because you don't have drive d: or didn't place your game in drive d:
You need to mount the drive and directory where your game is placed like below, for example mount c c:\games\jpack, and then type in DosBox c: so that it changes to the mounted drive, too. Mounting a drive and / or directory alone doesn't change to it automatically, you need to do it yourself after

it says that c: drive doesn't exist. and i have to mount it first.

thanks guys i got it now. but the next part: installing the game LOL. ive got to the part where i did C:\dir and i see jetpack in there but i dont know whats next.

No need to install it, just use the regular DOS commands to start it:
1. CD JETPACK
2. JETPACK [assuming the file that starts the game is called jetpack.exe; it might be called something else]

it shows no files when i do C:\jetpack>dir

it just has

Hmm, sounds like you might have an additional folder. If you open the jetpack folder in the Windows file manager, does it have another jetpack folder inside? If so, move the contents of the inner folder into the outer one and then it should work.
