hi there...!
i have a little problem starting the game Burn:Cycle and i hope you (abandonware-pro-)guys can help me...

well, let's start:

i got the Windows-version of the game Burn:Cycle today.
i'm using WinXP Home Edition SP2.
if i want to start the game a new white window opens and freezes. i can still go back to the desktop and work with all programs and so on, but the game doesn't work.

DOSBox won't help me, because it's a Windows-version. not the DOS-version...

anyone here with an idea??

cheers,
sasa89

If the game has an installer, you can try even installing via compability mode.

nope, it doesn't have an installer.
you play the game directly from the cd.

Try using Virtual PC to create a Win95 machine. Should work a little bit faster then Win98 does.

Alternatively, get a small second-hand hard drive (800 megs should be sufficient) and install Windows 98 on it.

1. www.bootdisk.com
2. Is that a problem? Just ask a pal who has another copy...

Not to ruin your day or anything, but are you sure the cd is fine? Not splodged or scratched?
