hi there...!
i have a little problem starting the game Burn:Cycle and i hope you (abandonware-pro-)guys can help me... well, let's start: i got the Windows-version of the game Burn:Cycle today. i'm using WinXP Home Edition SP2. if i want to start the game a new white window opens and freezes. i can still go back to the desktop and work with all programs and so on, but the game doesn't work. DOSBox won't help me, because it's a Windows-version. not the DOS-version... anyone here with an idea?? cheers, sasa89 |

If the game has an installer, you can try even installing via compability mode.

Try using Virtual PC to create a Win95 machine. Should work a little bit faster then Win98 does.
Alternatively, get a small second-hand hard drive (800 megs should be sufficient) and install Windows 98 on it. |

Not to ruin your day or anything, but are you sure the cd is fine? Not splodged or scratched?
