Today I bought a TV card for the PCMCIA slot of my notebook. I works just fine. The only annoying thing is this irritating high noise that it produces as soon as windows starts.

I already called Gericom but they say: just re-install the drivers. It didn't help.

Anyone got an idea what I can do? It really makes the card unusable because the noise is unbearable...

:help:

how much did you pay for this card? I'm assuming that its the same frequency of noise as was issuing from my Grandmothers TV that she bought for $50 (the cheapest one possible)

If you bought a cheap card then its probably just a hardware issue and you should bring it back and try another one. But like NrmMyth said, call again. Often you will hit a different person that is slightly more helpful
