Default Hanging 'Art' At The Cryb

Mediums: Oil, watercolor, chalk, clay, pencil/sketch, ink, 3D and 2D graphics.

Most of my art is under copyrights to other artists, but I think I can post some of the good stuff. Album covers, posters, flyers and other art, just because I love creating things. Enjoy!

you've got some good skills and the art is awesome. but i think you should switch to more modern 3d techniques. i mean, it looks so plastic

Thanks for the kind comments _r.u.s.s. I totally agree about the plastic. It seems to be my signature style and not always popular.

Thank you Lulu_Jane. Lots of people seem to like that one.

_r.u.s.s., you have a commendable eye for details.
The door is simply a free image photo, applied to a meshed bump map, to give it some dimension. The problem you see, is the door image is a front view, while my camera was set in a 30 degree angle for the image.

My art theme and technique is supposed to appear 'gamey', plastic, but as real as possible. By refraining to use photoshop for post work effects, or 3D enviroment filters and instead, retaining the 3D model feel and utilizing only this, to get a cartooney effect, attempting to look real.

Most meshes are originals.

Deciding SpongeBob Squarepants should be 3 dimensional.

Simple Trees(not). I hated the standard 3d Pine tree meshes and decided to make my own.
Each pine needle is applied to a real branch. It took me days to make them and the polygon count is completely through the roof.

Those trees seem to have a Mandelbrot thing going on there

I suppose it is in a way. Once I had a pattern created(A fan of branches with compound leaves, like a fractal image), I grouped it and repeated the pattern, making minor changes to each one until, I had one tree. Then I saved the tree and multi-replicated it at varying degrees, sizes and angles.

EDIT:
I should probably mention what software I use.

Small Update:

Figured an image such as this, would be more fitting for a game forum. *This is what happens when you have a bit of free time in Morrowind ES3.*
