Default Electronic Music

I listened to a electronic music guide. I thought there were only like 5 types of electronic music.... then I found there's about a 100 of them. Most of them suck.

Most of them sound like I could randomly smash keys on a Casiotone and randomly hit drums and someone would still call it good. Like House music.

*goes back to listen to 80s synthpop*

You know what is best? That I can't still seem to find two people that agree on every kind of music classification. It doesn't help that genres are not set in stone... Kinda like the Diablo debate

It's just a matter of perspective. I think most of metal is just bulky guitar riffs for adults who have extended period of angst and are afraid to grow up.

"Buttom smashing", I see.. or should one irrogant call it expression. Every genre has it's thing, may it be the minimal techno that keeps itself calm or wether it's the "button smashing" of old house where "excessive" use of claps are used.

Common thing that these "there's nothing else than progressive rock and else is shit" people use is the claim that electronic music is somehow filled with amateurs who "smash buttons" like they have no idea of doing what they do.

Electronic music has rich cultural heritage despite these old grunge beards and 34 year olds who hang out at the graveyard who claim otherwise. It's just the simple fact that their ego two big to understand it.

I'll just go smash my buttons now and you can close yourself to your small world now if you will. I can't wait tho, to get my tax refund to get my first actual hardware so I can filth the earth with my mindless buttonsmashing.

Good night.

I would say that you're welcome, but I know what is about to happen - good luck getting it out of your head for the next few days
