I remember a few years ago, when there was a little earthquake in Britain, I was in bed when it happened and I didn't have a clue what was going on LOL I thought it might have been the house starting to creak and fall down, when I realized that it was just a really little earthquake I wasn't worried though. It damaged our toilet and it wasn't really worth claiming insurance for it but we did just so we could have a cheque for "Earthquake Damage" LOL
5 earthquakes though... that's a lot, better watch out in case there's a bigger one on the way. Guess that's what you get if you decide to live on a fault line though
hah! i think i know the one you mean. in the midlands, right? i was staying at my friends place in wolverhampton, and it was really near the epicentre.
we`d all just turned the lights out were dozing off to sleep.......

BOOOMM BOOOOM BOOOOOOM BOOOM BOOOM BOOOM BOOOM and everything shook.

LOL i thought it was nuclear war

The actual epicentre of the quake was in Dudley, they had chimneys and things falling over.

I never experienced an earthquake!!*
It's just like a train going past (and sounds very similiar), just your house moves. In big ones, things break. In very big ones, buildings break and people die.

Here in Germany there're no earthquakes and I think there never were some. But when I was young and lived in Tadshikistan in Middle Asia, there were sometimes some earthquakes, but never higher than 4 on Richter's scala.

We got it already. Wasn't really needed to repeat it again.
