Well, I just installed my video driver for the first time (dunno why it took so long, but I thought it was worth a shot by downloading the driver update from nvidia.com) and the game performance has speeded up considerably.

You can install everest home edittion for free, and it will tell you how you can improve performance (check if you have all drivers etc.)

A) On German Keyboards: # for \ and Shift+Ö for :. Or Simply use the / instead of \. Or, go to the Control Panel->Regional & Language Options->Language Tab and set the Keyboard to United States – International.
Your problem isn't this exactly but the twiddling around in control panel should work.

Talking

Got It. :Brain: :Brain:

Open a windows command prompt from Start Menu->Programs->Accessories

Use the CD\path command to move to your DOSBox folder.

type "dosbox.exe -startmapper"

This will open the DOSBox keymapper

select Mod1 underneath the picture of the numeric keypad

In the new section at the bottom of the window click Add

Then press the key you want to use instead of Ctrl.

You should now see EVENT: Mod1 BINDWhatever Key You Pressed) - If not click next until you have that - If it isn't there try again!

Click Save to store the change. Then when you run DOSBox that key should now replace Ctrl when you want to increase speeds etc.

This will only work with DOSBox 0.63 - The Latest Release

Hope that helps!

Sorted - should work now!
