Default Gamebook Problem

Hi guys,

I see you're hosting the old HOTU gamebooks here. That's awesome!

However, I'm trying to download them, and it appears to just download an empty ZIP file. Windows throws up an error message that these files are "Not Valid" when I try to access them. Any thoughts?

well, in order to check if a file is missing it'd be nice to know which file =S

also, why do you think it's from hotu? if the file doesn't even open for you

I've tried several, and all seem to have this problem.

The post itself explicitly mentions them as having come from Home of the Underdogs: http://www.abandonia.com/es/node/26162

What are you using to extract the files? I have just downloaded, extracted and opened diceman01.zip and diceman02.zip with no problem.

It really would help if your were more specific about which files you have the problem with.

I've tried Book One of Sherlock Holmes Solo Mysteries, Sagard the Barbarian #1, and Cretan Chronicles #1 and Eternal Champions #1.

Sagard the Barbarian #1 is 4.43MB. When I double click on the ZIP file, I get:

"Windows cannot open the folder.

The Compressed (zipped) Folder 'G:\Brad's Stuff\Sagard the Barbarian 1 - The Ice Dragon.zip' is invalid."

If you guys can do it fine it's obviously a problem at my end. I'll try at work tomorrow. Thanks for your help.
