Maybe I wouldn't call it the best game ever, but it's not too bad either.
Published by Brøderbund in 1989, Abandonware according to the OW list. Info on Mobygames Info on HOTU The original game needs three diskettes (disk 1, disk 2, user disk) to be ran. It can be copied to HDD, but the result has atrociously long load times regardless of the machine, DOSBox included. However, I have been able to combine them into a single disk that also incorporates a DOS bootdisk (simplest one possible, just plain ol' command line without HDD support or any utilities). Thus, the entire game can be ran from a single disk image or a 1,44 MB floppy. This one works perfectly in DosBox as well. Anyone willing to step in for the review? |
